was getting gas after work and while i was pumping gas this guy pulls up and ask what year my truck was.. then like off an episode of kounting cars asked if i wanted to sell it but i said no i just couldn't do it

well here's a tetiment to the power of the li'l L16.. yesterday i picked up a cab over camper built for mini pickup and she pulled the hills pretty good held 50mph up hill... so i wouldn't change it if it runs welcome to the house of rust.. lol

was fun not very big just barely 100 vehicles entered...this old girl hybernates for bout 7 to 8 months so she never plays in the winter but still need to fix the hose but what got me was a 2007 dodge won the truck catagory it just baffels me cause there was older and nicer trucks

took the 521 to the 40th anniversary car show here in fairbanks,alaska.. had a heater hose spring a leak on the way there :( .. the only other import was 78 toyota

couldn't figure out why i had to pump the brakes repeatedly and do that everytime i wanted to stop..Then while standing in the shower it hit me..I DIDN'T ADJUST THE ADJUSTERS.. AAAARRRRGGGHHHH i left them turned in.. totally fogot to adjust them out duh dumb ass award..that's what i get for being to eager

well i ck'd for loose connections and nothing..tried to start it and same thing acted like an old prop plane get it to spine fast let go and hope it fires up..then i saw the blk/red and put it on the + post of the coil and waa laa bitch fired up like she's suppose to lol..appreciate the help banzai

got ei coil did away w/ orig coil n ballast..but i will check for the wire you speak of ..hopefully it's that simple

had the L16 in my 521 starting up really nice with ei distributor.. now it cranks but doesn't fire until you let go of the key and it fires up.... well i have to pump the gas till it warms up cause it has elec choke and i never hooked up... Has anyone had this prob. and how do i remeedy this?

the stock 620 drums fit but i already put the 620 axle assy. in and torqued it down.. but no worries i ain't ditching the 521 stock rear end it'll be in the shed as a spare :thumbup:
