  1. Renegade raceways in Yakima Washington.
  2. They are blow-off valves but they've converted to backfire valves. Just as simple and easy way to protect the supercharger.
  3. It's a draw through supercharger. I'm not a real big turbo fan. The distributor is an MSD Chevy V8 using every other contact. It was fabbed by using the shaft of the stock KA and the upper half of the MSD. Ran a 11.49 last week at Pacific Raceway in Kent, WA. 200hp shot of nitrous on top of 10 1bs of boost.
  4. Here's a picture under the hood and the car. Any questions just ask.
  5. I did the full swap 3 years ago. Custom fabbed everything. It's a lot of work. You have to be creative to get it done but it's worth it. '73 2 Door Sedan KA24DR, Twin Weber 38/38 Sync. Crower Stage 2 Cams / Supertech SS Valves Forge Arias Pistons/ Eagle Rods Eaton M62 SC 12 lbs. Boost / 175hp Progressive Nitrous GM 2 Speed Poweglide/Transbrake 3500 Stall Narrowed Ford 8.8 Posi 4.30 gears
  6. I have a H190 from a 320 in my 1200. The width is just right. You will have cut your leaf spring supports off of your B210 H150 and mount them outboard on the H190. The H165 may or may not hold up for your application.
  7. Its a 720 5 speed tranny. That's why I'm on this sight and not the 1200 sight. If there is something better out there than what I've already used, I'd like to get it.
  8. I've been using the National brand seal #710324 which is about a half inch thick. Not sure if its considered a double lip seal. Do you have the part number for the dealers seal?
  9. With my transmission, the seal only goes in flush. If I press it in farther, it interferes with that aligning bushing that slips around the Driveline shaft. Would it be possible that oil could leak from around the moving mechanism of the gear shifter. Not out of the boot but around that area. I'll get some of that Napa stuff.
  10. Oh. I did that as well. I need to get this thing fixed.
  11. So my tranny started leaking fluid last week. Its a 5 speed 720 pickup transmission in my 1973 1200. I previously had the Z24 motor in it but now the KA24DE. I had the car running for about a week when it started to leak tranny fluid. I'm using the GL4 gear oil filled to the plug level. So I pulled the Driveline off and replaced the seal. Again it leaked. Thought maybe I installed it incorrectly so I put another one in. Again it leaked. I checked the Driveline shaft and it looks fine. I blew air through the breather and it was not clogged. I replaced it a 3rd time with no change. Shaft diameter matches the specs on the seal. I have no vibrations when driving it. It drips from the output shaft seal only when the car has been in gear and driving. I just can't figure this thing out.
  12. The Supercharged KA24DE is done. Up and running. I had a guy build me a distributor using a MSD Chevy 350 distributor. You can go to Youtube and search: ncascademtns
  13. I did not know that. I ran my napz24 with both sets of plugs and a msd to the intake coil only. This info may have improved my performance . The z24 is currently out of the car and won't be going back in. My new project is getting this KA24DE up and running.
  14. I'm going to pick up an L series distributor and take a look. Another option is the crank fire system. Thanks for your help!
