should i cutt of and and re-crimp new connectors, or soak in white vineagar, you think most of the high resistance is because of dirty connectors, what shape do think my wiring is in on a 76' from california

Thanks guys, i figured that was a huge problem, one of my circuits has a HUGE! draw, and now i know why its burning things, thanks so much, and its the heaqdlights thats are doing it. im having the driver side headlights not working on high beams isssue, that has happened in millions of previous threads.

i bought this 76' 710 wagon, in the fuse box, every fuse had been replaced with a 30amp fuse, what kinda problems would this cause? (Also need a wiring harness for 76' 710 Wagon, L20B 4speed. Whats a good idea for replacing entire fuse box, can i upgrade to new style plug in fuses? And does anyone out there have a darn wiring diagram for this car/ California model

Yeah 710's r cool. im having alot of trouble with my wiring right now, ive been scratchin my head for days

If anyone has wiring diagrams, for a 76' 710 Station wagon please please help, it keeps frying my voltage regulators, What happened is awhile back my battery terminals shorted out on my hood, that kill the car right then and there that day. I replaced the battery, all battery connections and fuse- able links that were melted. I changed the alternator. i charged the battery over night, took it on a drive the next day and he died out, i figured it was the voltage regulator, i ordered a new one of eBay for $19.95 and i installed it, got her running and the wires on the new one started to melt. what do i do now?????

so, there is a lil rip in the accelarator pump rubber boot, could that be the reason is chokeout right when i step on the gas before taking off in first gear?
