  1. Thanks. I tried auto zone and they didn't carry them
  2. Anyone I'm washington know where i can find an adjustable brake prop valve locally?
  3. turns out that all my fuses were good to begin with. Did not need changing. The culprit was a loose connection from a butt connector that was used to splice new L shape connectors for the fuse block. Its funny, the ignition was in the on position then I unscrewed the block from the mount and let it hang. As soon as it moved the idiot lights lit up..... If it was me I'd solder and heat shrink them. sounds like another project. Oh well, thanks everyone for your input!!!
  4. Is it me or does anyone else get an 404 not found error when opening one of the pdf files
  5. Oh also I turned the lights on and I'm not getting reverse lights. I am getting hazzards just no turns and no idiots and gauges. Speedo and tach work ... Hmmmm...
  6. Okay so I changed my fuses and the gauges still don't work. Any ideas?
  7. Okay so when I put the meter on, what is the meter supposed to read if the fuses were good/badd
  8. That's weird cuz all six of the fuses are good... I'll try replacing them anyway... So is there no relay for the ignition?
  9. So I turned on my truck this morning and noticed that when I put the key to the on position, none of my normal idiot lights went on. The truck still started and my parking and headlights still work and so does the wipers. But not the turn signal and the idiot lights. the temp gauge and the battery gauge don't work either. I checked the charging system and it puts 15.3V to the battery. (its been like that since Ive done the internally regulated alternator from a 720 like a year ago.) I also noticed that when I used to put the key to the on position, I heard a click like a relay or something kicking on. I don't hear that anymore. is there an ignition relay somewhere on this truck?
  10. OK so I got the truck running. The wiring I did was actually correct. I just didn't crank it long enough for fuel to get to the Carb. Guess I panicked when I saw smoke from the resistor.lol so i just pumped the gas pedal a few times and it fired right up. It idles nicely and revs smoothly when I press the gas pedal. It needs a tune up though. Been sitting for almost a year. Thanks for your help guys!!!
  11. he wants to do the keyless entry mod like i did mine. just didnt expect to get jacked by a fellow datsun owner.
  12. i was just wondering about this because I measured 11.84v on the BW wire and plugged that into the resistor. It only read that when the key is on. then I measured the other end of the resistor and it also read 11.84. you said it is supposed to be lower than the input voltage. did i measure that right? the BR wire had no voltage key on or off. according to my 74 620 the BW goes into the resistor and a BW comes out then links to the BR and into the + side of the coil. so I copied that. I tried turning the motor and it didnt fire up. gonna double check the timing tomorrow and if there is any spark at all.
  13. His door doesn't lock. Cylinders are stuck.
