  1. Thanks guys, a guy on craigslist had 13x6 mg wheels that looked really old school, but after test fitting they did good on the rear but no luck on the front.
  2. Im looking at a cool set of wheels but they are 13s, I know the stock are 14 and just wondering if 13 would clear the brakes.
  3. Wow I havent been on for a while. Well time to kick things up with a little 260z treatment

  4. Neh I actually moved from texas not to long ago, so go cowboys.
  5. I seen this awesome 620 before on motormavens and i got to say you and bobs miata 520 are the best. Keep inspiring us
  6. Thank you very much every body I appreciate your comments. So all these pictures got me thinking about what color i should paint it and maybe 2 tone. Original plan is just to paint it original red like it was from the factory. Any body have any suggestions on the paint?
  7. Yeah i want to paint it in the original red, but i got to admit the rat rod primer look is kinda growing on me.
  8. I rode like that for a while till i bought a set of old 15x8 chevy rims for 40 bucks. So one by one i started sanding and grinding these old wheels into shape. Unfortunatly with the 215/75/15 tires i got for 20 bucks they rubed on all for corners. So it was out with the lowering block and I cranked the torsion bars till it set 3in in the front and 4 in the back. Hope my first write up isnt to bad, thank you. If theres anybody close to the MD area send me a messege.
  9. Well i have been hesitant to post my truck, but here goes nothing. I'll start from the beginning. Shes a 79 with a 5speed and pictures are worth a 1000 words. This is her before i bought her. Im in maryland and besides an occasional 280z i havent seen another datsun on the road. So replacing the fender wasnt an option. I started sending down the surface rust and the old paint. After many empty trips to the junk yards for a fender and an absence of a welder i decided to fiber glass the whole in the fender. I removed as much rusted out metal as i could and started laying down fiber.
  10. thanks that sounds like exactly what i need.
  11. cool cause those turbine rims look hella good.
  12. Where did you get the rims from?
