  1. Holy crap on a cracker! Never seen one of these, a 1936-1940 Datsun ute from Japan. Someone snap it up! https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/d/very-rare/6601144386.html This is in Arlington, Virginia.
  2. Not mine. Just saw it while searching Facebook. Never seen an Audi swap before. I assume this is a FWD engine converted to RWD. http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/5139631479.html
  3. Damn, not sure how I missed it on ebay since I seem to check it almost every day. I would have snapped it up in a second since it was so close to me and I knew the owner and some of the history. Bummer.
  4. I know that red '62 a few post back. I live in Maryland and during high school in the early 80's it was yellow with a Buick V6 in it. He broke the windshield and could not locate one since it was before the internet and there were none of these trucks on the east coast so he reformed the windshield and side glass areas. He also custom built the bed. Fast forward to about 10 years ago and I was at a local car show and ran into this truck there and met the owner. I asked if it was the same truck I knew from the 80's and he said yes. His name is Keith and he told me that he was originally from California and brought the truck out here from there. I'm guessing he has moved back since the truck is in Cali again. Anyway, I still had an early 80's Mini Truck magazine where he was asking if anyone has a windshield so I cut it out and gave it to him the next week at the show. I saw the truck often at the same weekly show but hadn't seen in there the last few times I went. Glad to see it has gone "home" to Cali. I wonder if Keith is still the owner? Anyone know? The wheels are definitely different than the last time I saw it. They were Centerlines I believe. Pretty cool truck.
  5. I sold my '72 521 and then it was re-sold on ebay to a shop in PA. I just tracked it down yesterday and based on pics on the shop's website they are doing a full custom build and putting an RB26 with a transaxle in the back and a new suspension in the front. Check it out. You have to scroll down through the pics on the main page but there are about 4 or 5 pics of the progress (the pics aren't all together). https://www.facebook.com/pages/FAST-Family-Automotive-Service-and-Tuning/159316950772712?sk=timeline&ref=page_internal
  6. I live in the Annapolis, MD and I sold my '72 521 a few months ago and I was wondering if anyone bought it. I sold it to a local guy who put it on eBay. It is maroon with maroon bucket seats. Just hoping someone on here bought it and continues fixing it up.
  7. Back in the day they ised to make body lift blocks. As noted above you can also raise the front with the torsion bars and you could raise the back by putting the axle under the leaf springs.
  8. Send me your email and I'll send you the 4 pics I have. And yes, it is the Hawkins Point location.
  9. Sorry, not exactly a CL ad but I wanted all the east coast people to see this. I was at Crazy Rays in Glen Burnie this weekend and there was a 1976 B210 in prettyy good shape and it had 4 good mesh wheels, good trim amd lenses but missing some interior pieces. It was kelly green.

  11. Been there, done that. The problem is that all you see is a pic and some words and it's very hit or miss. My suggestion is to go to www.meetup.com and find an activity that you are interested in like hiking, running, whatever, and get out and meet women face to face on a social level. It can be hard being the new guy but it has worked for me. It gives you an opportunity to meet and get to know someone before you decide to ask them out. There is a group for almost any activity you want to do. Try it dude.
  12. I found these two videos on YouTube: It actually looks earlier than 320.
  13. I was watching a re-run of a Dog Whisperer episode on NatGeo and they were doing an episode about a company that allows dogs at work and they shot scenes in the offices. It looked like it may have been an ad agency. They had a red 320 panel van on display in the offices. I haven't had time to find the episode but maybe someone can find it and post it. It is brief but you get almost a full view of it.
