  1. When disassembling my 620 lots of bolts snapped or nuts stripped and now I don't know where to find hardware kinda at a stand still until I figure this out. Any advice?
  2. If I could jump in with a question of my own. Is the 78' 620 considered a kingpin having the discs upfront. And if kingpin could be explained
  3. When I unplug the relay under the hood I was able to jump or splice to get low beams but when I switch to High beams three terminals, total of 5 become hot 12v thought maybe I could get away with somthing like that?
  4. the dimmer is a knob you twist on the dash. The turn signal is on the column.
  5. ok I changed the directional switch on the column but did not change the dimmer. Do I have a way out here?
  6. Hey guys I swapped a 78 620 dash and harness into a 77 620. Everything works except my low beams. From what im learning is the 77 uses a headlight relay and the 78 does not. Is there a way to modify this easily or am I in trouble
  7. hey just a question, do the years matter if your swapping interior or exterior. Say i have a 1978 and a dash from a 76 or vise versa. i guess my reasoning is because i looked at a 76 620 yesterday and it looked as if the truck was smaller i dont no
  8. i have not gotten any replys on this. so asking the question out write maybe would help. if i have a question and my post just says what my truck is then how are people gonna see it unless there interested in my truck.
  9. I have a snapped bolt holding the oil pump to the timing cover it seems the threads ride up into the pump any suggestions, also there are what looks to be score marks on the block from the chain, are those supposed to be there? and i noticed number 4 on her way down there is tiny spots of coolant in the bore? is it cracked at the water passage if so can it be welded from the inside? any tips? 10. ok guys i have some questions i need help with. as you can see in the pic i snapped a bolt at the head on the oil pump. im guessing the threads run into the pump a ways, any ideas would be appriceated. also i noticed on the front of my blocks there are grooves were the timing chain rides are those supposed to be there?. And the last thing and please go easy on me guys im hoping im wrong i noticed when i crank the pistons as number 4 is on its way down i can see tiny drops of coolant! does that mean the bore has a crack below the rings were i cant see it. the coolant passage is right behind were its coming from. i really hope the block isint ruined please any thoughts on my topic?
