  1. sorry about that, it was just a blown IC piping coupler, on the boost side, that was out of view, found it when i started tearing stuff apart to figure it out.
  2. Yeah I bought them from tire rack back in late 2009? Guess they only have the kuhmo slicks now. If i find any company that makes them in that size or a similar size lets say 205/60/13, I will let you guys know.
  3. nope it means I am on a small budget, try to spend the least amount of money on it while keeping it still fun as hell to drive.
  4. Update: Got rid of the SAFC-2, got the ECU chipped and tuned. Got the wiring all cleaned up too. Final fix of the manifold. Finally got the classic light switch in the dash. no more wiring mess, gotta touch up some paint on the interior, or repaint it.
  5. i have not been to a meet in so long, what is wrong with me. i say you guys should see me this month. ha
  6. pos godspeed turbo, gonna swap it out when i have the money. engine management is stock ecu with safc-2 and wideband. yea the sway bar is bolted up to the spare tire well, i thought that was kinda weird too, because its not solid at all, it was setup like that when i bought the car, im thinking of removing it and just go with way stiffer springs, like some people have done on here.
  7. update: new wheel bearings and rear disc brakes
  8. maybe the chp was bullshitting me and just wanted to me get copped one day and get a fat ticket for my motor bastard.
  9. i was going in for a vin verification, they had to get the vin off of the firewall, so i had to open the hood, so he obviously saw the motor, and what was done to it. didnt say anything about it and told me not to worry about it... they say they mostly do Honda's.. hardly ever classic cars..
  10. hmm well i got mine verified by the CHP they could care less about which motor i had in there, and what mods were done to it.
  11. nice hopefully i can be there next time, damn wheel bearing keeping me, and other projects.
  12. but most pre-75 cars had no emission devices or controls, and if the motor you swap is not USDM motor or did not come with emission controls. like my CA18det there is nothing they can say.
  13. i wanna build my exo but i dont know if it will work with my new bed i just built. i cant wait to go wheeling in nevada when i finish rebuilding my front axle.
  14. holy shit. i want a ride in this when your done with it ben!
