  1. Still trying to figure out how to post up the pictures. Do I need to create a photo bucket account or something ? I saw the sticky. Gonna read it tonight and try to figure it out. You guys are full of knowledge and I love having a Datsun in the collection along with my wife and I other 2 Nissans
  2. This thing looks amazing already with the 3" drop blocks and Titan wheels. I'm in love !! Def the funnest and possibly easiest thing I've ever worked on and modified. Looks fucking awesome
  3. I completely understand. Just ordered timing chain kit for it today. I try not to use junk parts, but sometimes the cheaper has to be used until better can go on. So new timing chain kit, etc water pump, Weber 32/36, water pump on way in the mail. I will def be posting up pics of this build soon
  4. Yes it does. Its my build and have plenty of phone pics. Will figure out how to post up pics tomorrow
  5. Yeah manual choke.im in south carolina si not much need for a choke anyways. And yeah doing this will give me time to get more familiar with this truck and engine. I'm sure other parts are gonna need replacing. Gonna get the weber from a dedicated seller like Pierce manifolds online. I really don't want to end up with junk, I like to buy the right quality part and roll with it
  6. Yeah no PMI or empire, dont want to buy some shit just to have it. Found a weber for good price. Building this Datsun is fun as hell. Can't wait to do a cam. I put on a Honda civic so muffler yesterday mated to the factory piping. It sounds so quiet, clean and awesome. The 32/36 gonna make it sound even better. The civic muffler fits perfect guys. Nice quick mid for cheap. The flow master that was on there wasn't even welded anymore to the piping. Was just hanging. So like I said civic so muffler mated to factory exhaust piping is tits !! Love it. So- titans on now, civic exhaust, I get the 32/36 I'll be set for a while
  7. Yeah, you guys def helped me decide. Rolling with a new weber 32/36. I dont have time to be buying different jets and trying to adjust the 38 outlaw to be drivable. I thought it would be good for future expansion of mods but it seems like its too much. Gonna roll with a 32/36 until I can afford to go wild and do side drafts and manifold, etc
  8. Yeah my boy had the 38 outlaw it on a 4cylinder Suzuki samurai engine was too much and ran like crap. So maybe the best is to go with a new 32/36, actual weber and run it no issues
  9. You guys have great advice. Just gonna spend on the real weber 32/36
  10. Thank u brother. Yes I did want a lot of opinions so I could make the best decision. Really think I'm gonna get my Buddy's 38 outlaw just because I know its a real weber, barely used, and I think it will be good for how I like to drive
  11. And option 3, a empi 38 new for $240 https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01CGIHZWO/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1501163929&sr=8-6&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=datsun+620+carb&dpPl=1&dpID=414nmF9PmnL&ref=plSrch
  12. That's true. I prefer a real weber, but this is only temporary for maybe a year until I can do the dual side drafts. Why is no one agreeing with me on the 38 outlaw my buddy has.is it that undrivable, the condition of it is like new and has all the adapter plates, etc
  13. PMI any good. Same performance as a weber ? Should be ok right. If its a copy all weber jets, rebuild kit, etc should work right
  14. Here's the real weber https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00449S3QQ/ref=pd_aw_sim_sbs_263_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=XNR6W3NAH9QZ8XJ3SE1P&dpPl=1&dpID=51mtzsCH7FL
  15. There is only 2 of those left on amazon if its a good deal someone let me kbow. Please dont screw me by buying them up. Only 2 left, should I jump on it or go with my Buddy's 38 real weber and just down jet it
