  1. the place that i had the carb rebuilt at siad they fixed the choke, but it dont work for shit and id rather not go back there since i brought it to them with the issue and had to bring it back because it had the same issue and they blamed it on me saying it was my fault that it was doing that.
  2. well the thing is it isnt just in the mornings that it does it
  3. mine does it more than just the morning, it does it whenever it sits for an extended period of timr. its just a cunt really
  4. i have an 1985 720 4x4 with the z24 carburated motor in it, earlier this year it started to sputter in 1st and second from 1k rpms to 3k rpms but only when it is cold, on top of that my fuel mileage dropped to about 10mpg, ive had the carb rebuilt, replaced the o2 sensor, coolant temp sensor, fuel pump, and exhaust manifold. The sputtering isnt as aggressive as it was but it still does it and my mpg is still garbage. ive done done plugs and wires and ignition coils as well and it didnt seem to change anything. it was able to pass smog on its own and better than most modern cars. im tired of dealing with its morning bitchiness and would love any guidance on to what could be causing my truck to be a twat. p.s it does have a a rebuilt motor in it along with head work done to it all before i got it, the motor has about 60k miles on it currently.
  5. the header i purchased for it is a pacesetter
  6. so if i grind the ports on the z24 header it should fit on the ka24e
  7. So I purchased a long tube header for my 720 pickup but it Doesn’t clear the 4x suspension in the front, but I do have a 620 with a single cam ka and was wondering if a z24 long tube will fit on a ka24e
  8. my fans are running constantly when the truck starts. what temperature should both thermostat and hoses really be at?
  9. what was the name of the topic so i can search it up?
  10. the fans are on constantly. and what temperature should i be looking for? also i havent replaced the thermostat on it
  11. I’ve got a 1985 720 4x4 with the z24 carbureted motor. It’s got an all aluminum 4 core radiator, twin 13 inch electric fans, an 18psi radiator cap and new coolant and hoses. But when it idles for long periods of time or when I’m stuck In traffic the needle goes above the half mark. I just replaced the cap yesterday and added a second fan Saturday. When I drive it, it’s right in the middle of half and the first line. But it only heats up on idle. Any help is appreciated. And one other thing. My transfer case bushing are shot and I can’t seem to find them anywhere.
  12. So I’m selling my l20b motor with a 150,000 miles and Webber 32/36 along with all the original smog stuff that came on the motor. It’s got an aftermarket header and fresh oil pan gasket and timing cover gasket, the only thing wrong with it is it need a valve job.
  13. so my dad and i are converting a 78 620 from front disk to full disk and want to know what master cylinder will work to be able to use full disk.
