  1. Re seated that rocker and adjusted them all hot. Still ticking. I agree it had to be related to that rocker though.
  2. And the tick is still there. Just as bad.
  3. All the valves were WAY too tight, got them all adjusted properly and also found this gem in there on cyl 4 https://imgur.com/gallery/XofAB
  4. Well that doesn't sound too bad. I have feeler gauges. I think I'll give it a shot.
  5. So when you say one full turn on the engine, do you mean a 360* turn on the crank pulley and then continue?
  6. Alright everyone, I've got a 629 with an L20b with probably a lot of miles. I'm not real sure how many it's got on it to be honest, I picked the truck up from some guy who's been driving it like this for about 5 years. But it sounds great and runs great, makes good oil pressure and stays cool and all that. But once it's up to temp, I get a valve tick. Reminds me of my buddy's old Mazda pick up that had one about just as loud. So my question is how would you solve it? Adjust valves? Not change anything with it? Resort to horrible Oil additives? I'm not real confident I can adjust the valves properly myself.
  7. Yes casting number 827! What's the value on this thing?
  8. Can anyone here help me identify the value of this intake? I have a bin of parts and people seem very interested in this intake. https://imgur.com/gallery/hcnjp
