I know I’m going to put blocks in the rear end. This is my first project car and I’m ready to see it closer to earth. I understand how to lower it with torsion bars. My concern is how bad it is going to butcher my camber? Is there stock adjustment in the camber? Adjustable control arms? Drop spindles? Im willing to spend money but I don’t want to buy a bag kit. Let me know what you think

I have a chilton repair manual that has helped me a lot. I'm going to order the Weber but I'm not sure exactly what I need to do it. I know Datzenmike said you have to swap the throttle connection but will I have to fab anything up for it to fit or will it just drop in. Also what kit do I order? I know I want the 32/36 but I'm not sure which one will fit my 1974 620.

The linkage was wrong. And I didn't want to go through the hassle of making it work. I'm young and I'm learning. Lesson learned I will not be buying cheap parts ever again. Just ordered a Weber! Thanks for the help guys.

My original carb has two silinoids and the new aftermarket one only has one silinoid what do I do with the extra wire.

So I bought a new carb off eBay. It's aftermarket and I really wanted to stay oem, but it's not in the budget at the moment. It's very similar and looks like the base of the carb and the linkage will line up. Was wondering if anyone else has used one of these. The original carb in it now has 2 wires coming from it and the one I just bought has 1.

My first time rebuilding a carb. I received my Walker carb kit today and plan on rebuilding my hitachi two barrel carb tonight. Any advice before I begin? I'll be posting pictures of the kit and my carb later photo bucket is down for the moment.

The truck actually runs very well. The engine has been rebuilt and the heads milled. No coolant leaks and the radiator holds compression. The front crankshaft seal is leaking a small bit however. Other than that no fluid leaks. It runs and shifts just fine and the clutch is new when the previous owner sent the engine off to get rebuilt.

New member from Kansas. I recently bought a 1974 Datsun 620 pickup from a guy in Oklahoma. I'm extremely exited to see how this truck will end up. I've been following this forum since I picked up my truck about a month ago and finally kind of learned how to navigate the site. So I wanted to make an account and get a chance to learn and soak up some information on these things. I have pictures but not sure how to upload. I know I need a photo bucket but how do I go about doing that?
