Have a new in the box Datsun part no 22100-U6001 distributor but I can't get the pertronix magnet ring to slide down far enough on the distributor lobe shaft and there is no hole in the housing the right size for the wire grommet. I see no way to do it. I don;t remember where I got the distributor and may be incorrect. Any info or a source for new Hitachi would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info. My thought on using the Z MC was that the system would be basically the same as a Z. I'm not going to use the stock proportioning valve in lieu of a dash adjustable one. I'm gonna run Mikunis so the extra room may come in handy.

I'm putting 240z front brakes on my 510. Since it's basically the same setup as a Z car, will a 72 z car master cylinder interchange. Ron

Really nice drawing. I'm working on a 72 510 and I am hung up on the engine compartment wiring. Over the last two weeks I've learned that there are several different harnesses. I think mine doesn't match yours entirely. Nothing is easy, especially if you're not an electrical guy. Thanks for your drawing

After many years of storage I've decide to put the 510 together as a track car. I've hit a dead end with the engine compartment wiring harness. The one I have is cut up in places and I can't seem to match available wires to the wiring diagram (DAMB Productions). I know I didn't do the cutting and I can't find the other one. Troy Ermish suggested that a guy named Jeff Hino could maybe help. But I just need some input. Ron

Does anyone have a picture showing the routing of the loom behind the dash. I forgot to take one before I removed mine for painting
