The mounts need to be cut, So lower your engine in with the ISR mounts at stock height and adjust accordingly until the engine is sitting proper. We used the original cross member but a random rubber trans mount from the junk pile and cut it to fit.
The battery tray should be removed to leave room for the throttle body (Relocate battery to the rear)
Alternator sits very close to frame.
Torsion bars interfere with exhaust.
I am saving up to change the suspension to coilover set up. Ratsun forum member BEEBANI makes the kits. He lists them on ebay https://www.ebay.ca/itm/New-And-Improved-Full-Coilover-Kit-For-Datsun-nissan-Pickups/192662828694?fits=Model%3A720&hash=item2cdb997696:g:KREAAOSw63FaAd8p&vxp=mtr
Feel free to ask anymore questions.
Okay thanks I`ll try to find a replacement. Or I`ll just leave it and mount the intercooler under the grill and use some flat steel under the grill. I like the additional lip this wrong one has haha.
So I am getting ready to buy some sort of fuel containment for the truck. I am looking at Summits SUM-290108 Fuel Cell. www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-290108 I was wondering if anyone else has relocated the stock fuel tank as I do not have a tank, lines or anything related to fuel on the truck, So I wanted to know if there are any other options available or just your thoughts.
I started to put some things back together. I`ve ran into an issue that I must be missing something under the grille. I see the bottom of it has clips that look like they would go into something. I was thinking the front bumper maybe is what it attaches to? I misplaced the bumper and wiper cowl as well some other parts i`m sure.
Anyone see what i`m missing?
