Ordered 1/4” BPST... hopefully it will work.

Anyone switched from spiral choke to a single wire one? Or just replaced OEM one? Mine has been acting up and every time I try and fix it it frays and I have to fight it to get it back on my Weber.

Now it’s tight to pull and clicks when I push it in. Wondering what my options are?

Check your fuse box, left side towards the back I think the blue/yellow wire goes there.

So a 1/4" one of these should work?

The one on top?
That's 1/8 And again probably bspp....

Yeah the one with the long tube sticking out on the right.  I would take a picture of mine but too lazy.

Wait are you removing the pcv?
I would keep it.... hook the pcv directly to the crank case vent....

Might have described it wrong.

Looking for the thread size of the bung on the right side of these manifolds.  TVV?  Not sure what its called.

From that thread:

F is Field which is your 12v power source to excite the alternator.
L is Light which goes to the wire in your harness that goes to the dummy light.

lol...I can afford all the right tools but I won't buy them unless I absolutely need them.  And I choose to drive this fucker and find myself wondering why I suffer through all of it.  I love the truck but it is without a doubt a royal pain in the ass to own and maintain.

Anyways, I can hit this with an impact gun and not have to block the crank or put the head back on?  If so I will just take the block to the shop and have them hit it.

*sigh* just when i think the truck is doing well some gremlin pops its head up and says fuck you. Maybe the load of the bike was too much for the old girl. I was on the edge of my seat all the way home just praying something didn't explode. Thankfully i made it home safe and sound. But now i have to investigate this cause it sounded real bad.

Feel the same way man.  I don't have to drive this fucking thing, I choose to and sometimes I wonder why I do it.  Sucks wondering what broke, what is going to break or whether you are going to make it home.

Hopefully its nothing major man.

I got some spares that work and look ok, back ends of them are cracked but you can't see it when they are mounted.  Would be willing to part with them (headlight, wipers and fan)

What your speakers look like in the doors? I just use a little bluetooth speaker and stream from my phone.
