No I am not keeping track of fuel mileage I drive it so little at the moment, i am just working out all the little bugs

I never thought about the trailer axle part of it, I may have to do that. How can i tell what bed this is by the way is it identified on the axle which truck it came from.

I found what i thought was a nice priced datsun trailer made from a truck bed, I think this would be a super idea to add to my 620 camper, not to familiar with trailers as a whole but if I lower this trailer what shouldnt I do. I am going to repaint it to coincided with the camper and lower it and put different wheels and call it a day, any suggestions ideas or complaints Im all ears

Actually after posting I have found a couple of this trucks with the same paint and the funky web like effect, I am inclined to think it may be real and just a funky reaction on this paint.

Can anyone give me any insight as to if this patina is natural or someone messed with it. a couple old school guys at work think the paint had to be manipulated. Has any one had a datsun do this

We worked out a pretty good price below his asking price, the way these trucks are appreciating it was a good deal to me.

Acquired this from a pretty cool guy, ready to but my own mark on it. Several people on facebook have said its made the rounds so hopefully i make it better than when I bought it . The kids love it though which is the main thing

It wasn't the upper or lower radiator hose although it was next to it. The needle runs center left on the regular. While idling it resided ther 45 min Rock solid. Took it up to 30 45 miles an hour it starts creeping up til it gets hot had mechanic check flow after thermostat was installed its opening up like it should and circulating. Could it be a weak fan. Not cooling or maybe a weak water pump

81 datsun 210 wagon 1.5 ltr. I just changed a radiator hose, radiator cap and the thermostast I was running hot. Now I have good circulation and car see.s to keep cool fine at idle you get it on the highway it starts to run hot. Let it sit for 30 minutes about 180 degrees all day what could I be possibly missing.

Does anyone know if you can use different door knobs from other datsuns on a datsun 210 wagon

I had that car for a little over 10 yrs. Sold it just a few months ago and 2 days later the kid wrecked it. In the right hands that car was awesome. Very reliable with regular maintenance and very fun to drive. I tried to talk the kid out of the sale because he had never driven a manual but he wanted it anyway.

Hey been meaning to get back to you datzenmike. I wanted to say thanks for all the advice and help, it turned out to be a rebuild of the carb fixed the problem.

I will have to check that one out, I had that thought that the accelerator pump may of been an issue and dismissed it earlier on , I will definitely check it out..

ok finally got the vehicle to run, long story short I had some hoses crossed up somehow some way. I do appreicate all the help you provided datzenmike. You were right on the money all i have to do now is figure out why when I give it gas it seems to hesitate as if I have a vacuum leak it wants to almost die out on me but it is running after a month my wife is excited because she can have her van back lol. thanks for all the help my friend
