  1. I've actually read your fuel cell write up a couple months ago. I'm either going that route or putting it in the bed if the truck is too low. My tank is about 15 inches in height I'd guess.
  2. In other news the old gas tank had in weld on it, and I wasn't really feeling it. Instead I bought a fuel cell from RCI. It's a 15 gallon tank so its basically the size of stock. Comes with a sender and ill be running a walbro 255. This build is taking longer than expected and is slowly trying more involved, but soon enough burn out carnage will be amongst us.
  3. I pulled the seats and will be pulling the dash to really do the inside how I want. There's some worrisome finds though. This is the passenger floorboard. If I came down with a big stomp I'd probably bust through the floor. There's a few spots like this so its going to have to be cut out and new metal will have to be welded in. This is where I wish I learned how to weld more than just casually.
  4. Thanks for the help Lockleaf! I would go maxima coils, but this is just a fun budget build so I'm not going to get a standalone. I have a chipped KA ecu tuned at 12psi for this engine and turbo (bought it out of a running car). Unless it can work with that. I havent found a thread on zilvia.net about being able to though.
  5. This is how it fits. The only thing I would be worried about is the distributor would basically be touching the turbo.
  6. I'll go flip it today and see how it fits
  7. Can you just flip these manifolds without having to cut the flange off? Because if so it would probably work.

  9. The sticker on the back says they were made in '94. A friend got them in a shipment from Japan and I jumped on them. The barrels are put together with silicone and the faces have removable hardware. Not sure if the faces can come off if the bolts do, but they're definitely at least two piece wheels if not three.
  10. And last but not least I also bought some wheels that I think are going to be a perfect fit!! Volk power 15x7 wheels! Tires are on the way and once I get those in, these are going on.
  11. The truck only came with one shock that wasn't in too good of shape so I bought some replacements and put them on. They're from AutoZone. Hijackers. So I can at least fill them up with air to stiffen the ride which might come in handy. These aren't the hoses' permanent resting places. After I get the bed on I'll do better routing.
  12. It doesn't look like I can use my Isis manifold. It's up real close against the steering column and I doubt the turbo is going to fit. Keeping this a cheapish build I have already gotten a top mount log manifold to replace it. It will at least work. I'm going to try and fit it on the bottom mount first at least. My turbo is only a t25/28 hybrid. It could work. But doubtful.
  13. I've been gone for awhile but I haven't seen stopped working on the truck. We finally got the engine in recently. Flipped the centerlink, and swap on the mounts and dropped it right in with the trans. It wasn't too much of a pain at all either.
  14. So I haven't gotten around to work on the truck as much as I've wanted. I do have a few updates. I found some one stage paint that I liked and decide to go ahead and paint the truck. I got rid of the surface rust using a wire wheel. I didn't notice how many dents this thing had until after I painted it. Kind of breaks my heart, but oh well this is just going to be a fun beater. And I painted the entire frame black with stop rust paint.
