Check for the Moog brand CV clamps #3416 for the big end and #3415 for the small end. They should have a long enough tail to work with the tool you have. Also look at the Lisle brand tool # 30950 it looks to have a shorter reach that may work with your existing clamps.

Just to get some heat in the car try reaching under the dash on passenger side and operating the valve by hand. Wont be much without the fan but might be a start.

A1 spring in Oakland should be able to replace or modify your leaf springs.You might call them for a quote.

Ground Control kits used to come with an o-ring to slip between the strut tube and collar.

Sorry this doesn't answer your question but you could crank the engine with the cap off to check rotation direction. edit for more info. (I have a good spark) My fan turns clockwise so does the crank pully. Manual says ignition timing is 1 3 4 2 ? I am getting gnarly mufler explosions.

Another way to check the hose size would be to fit an open end wrench onto the steel line. 1/4,5/16 and 3/8 are your common hose sizes.

The connector appears to be a non factory scotch lock.Most likely an additional ground wire.Look at the ground wire to your pump and see if there is a spot where that might have been attached.
