I was thinking about the sbc since I have a brother in law of my gf that has a decently priced 327 with a cam bore stroke and more already in it. He only wants 400 for it hasn't even been in a car yet. And the guy I'm getting the car from already has sbc mounts for the car too.

Hey guys!! So I'm a new member and I decided to start doing some more googling on the 280z after getting my new 280z! And this was the first sight I seen that I really liked. I'v been dreaming of owning one for half my life and we'll I finally have one!! But it's a big project!! Managed to find one less than an hour away and trading my 85 trans am for it!! So my biggest questions to start with is what major ideas should I persue. I can get a original motor 5 speed tranny ecu and wiring for $600 from a friend or should I go bigger and also what kind of upgrades should I do all around and where is the best site to get em? I appreciate everything ahead of time guys!!
