  1. thats guys really helpful and what color wire would be the ignition switch to turn on the pump because there are alot of wires to the pump
  2. i have converted my 280zx to su carbs and my question is how do i wire in the fuel pump. i have a low psi pump and has ground and a 12v ,but i was told not to wire ot to the ignition just in case of an accident, so how can i wire it to where if that occurred how would it be wired to shut off
  3. ok there was one on ebay thats goes up to 140psi would that be ok and i can just adjust it done to 4psi
  4. can i keep my stock pump as a temporary solution for now
  5. yes sorry its my 1980 280zx with the n47/n42 , it has a electric fuel pump that i know of ,ok would the hold fpr be ok im still deciding if i should get the holly carb fuel pump or the facet electric pump just want something that would swap right into my stock fuel pump
  6. so i got my su's bolted on ,but one question i have is can i use the stock fuel pump with a bypass regulator or would i need to swap the fuel pump for a low pressure fuel pump and what is the set up for a bypass regulator
  7. ok yea mine have the ports on the manifold for the coolant to run through i think they are from an '73 but i just want to make sure itll bolt to my head
  8. just havent heard of anyone using su's on the n47 head i have a 1980 280zx

  10. havent got the stock manifold off yet so not sure if there is anymore holes that i can bolt up to, dont really wanna drill and tap more holes i like the n47/n42 ,but my buddy is convensing me to swap
  11. i finally got my su carbs in but the manifold has 6 holes for the e88 manifold, i have an n47 head and was fuel injected but only had 4 holes, so my question is what is needed to bolt the su manifold up
