  1. Wow! i love how "clean" and elegant it looks .. What a beauty you have there! Congrats!
  2. These are some of the medium and mini trucks we have here
  3. Here in my region (SouthAmerica) that type of trucks you described is the vast majority on the roads. Fuel is too expensive and bigger trucks means bigger maintenance costs... Very few "full size" trucks are sold. (I.e. Ram, Tundra, Titan, etc) We even have what you call "mini trucks".
  4. May this go into production? https://www.topspeed.com/cars/nissan/2022-nissan-frontier-project-72x-ar194704.html
  5. Hey! How am i suposed to take that ring from there? The outer race of the bearing is so close to the ring that it doesn't allow it to expand enough to come out of the groove...
  6. Really? Damn...i might have to start using reading glasses or a magnifier! 😀 I will check and come back to confirm...thanks A LOT..!
  7. Hello folks! Can someboby please explain to me how to remove this pinion assembly? On the manual says there is a lockring but there isn't one on this particular starter. Engine is a L18 on a Datsun 720 KC Starter is a Mitsubishi M3T20681 Pinion have stamped 333 71 Thanks in advance!
  8. Yesterday i did this hack to the air inlet, i park my truck under a pine and after a couple of years it accumulated a lot of pine needles in there. Cheers!
  9. Yes Mike, when i bought the truck i looked after changing them wheels and came here for information and found what you say...finally i decided to leave the 14" steelies. Then i bought 5 new tires in the original size that now have less than 20k kms...so i plan to leave them on until they wear out. I will buy them and we will see what the hell they are...😀
  10. Many thanks Mike! I've went thru all "our" Datsun /Nissan/JPM webpages looking for them and couldn't...so i was pretty sure that they were not OEM. I will trust the guy and buy them...i've been looking for 6 bolt 14" rims since i have the truck and these ones are the first ones i came across with. Thanks people..!
  11. Hi guys/girls! A guy from Facebuk is selling these wheels, he says that they came with the truck but i can't find them in any of my searches (i'm not very good at googling i have to admit). I know pictures suck....but can any of you confirm if they are OEM wheels? Thanks in advance and have a great 2021..! Ps: my truck and the guy's one are both Datsuns KingCab 1980, 6 bolt 14" wheels.
  12. Well...i've found two of these beauties in an online store. Truck's been running just fine since i've "rebuilt" the engine, gas mileage is good, no oil consumption and some minor carburation issues every now and then.
  13. Hi, I disagree... Myself being a total newbie, i was able to disassemble, diagnose and rebuild my truck's engine with the help of the guys from this forum and the Nissan manual... I see many other posibilities for mistakes/fu**-ups/risks while removing and reinstalling the head and everything that such tasks requires than flattening it with this procedure. I think that someone that cannot do this safely and reliably, should not try to fix his engine at all...! Thats my humble opinion, of course...
  14. Yeah, cold weather affects neural processes! 😂😂😂 Txs!
