  1. James I am in Cassatt. Don't have much time and I am learning these trucks myself but I am around.
  2. She is not perfect but I think I captured what I was looking for. A cool little truck that will definitely start some good conversations.
  3. Update!!! She is almost done. Just some tinkering on the brakes and electrical and she will be on the road.
  4. sorry I missed this. I cut all of the rust out and rustoleum heavy rust primer as much as I could that wasn't going to burn with the welding . I'm not done with the underneath yet but I'm going to run heavy duty construction glue over the sims and probably run bed liner or a thick coat of undercarriage paint.
  5. I'm in LA today and since I have a few hours to spare was wondering if anyone have a few spare parts in the area. I need door panels, seat rails and headlamp rings. I can use a few badges too and a pitman arm.
  6. i have 4 but I'm not sure if I want to keep them or not yet.
  7. Hey guys its been a while since my last post. Trying to find out time to work on this beauty, so here is a sneak peek of my project. Since my last post I'd done some body work, including rocker panels. She is no where near to be done but she is getting there. I just repaired rust spots and scratches didn't wanted to make her perfect since it taken over 40 years for her to be the way she is. Anyway.....stay tuned. Hoping to be on the road by next spring.
  8. More pictures added.
  9. Thanks guys I will put the body mounts on the to do list.
  10. Just started working on them pans today. Still need to tack them and make up my mind what will I do with the passenger side. Here is how I am doing. That last picture doesnt look to great so I ll load a new one next time. Here are some more pictures.
  11. Thanks guys, cleaned everything put new points and condenser. Gauge them to 0.022 and she started the first try. Ran her for good 20 minutes. Brakes are completely busted from the booster on down, but that and the floor pans will be in another thread.
  12. Thanks that makes lots of sense this one only have one point. I will trace these wires next time and give a feed back.
