Need help. My 73 datsun 620, has a fresh rebuilt Hitachi carb, we can get it too start, and run using gas directly into the top of carb, it will idle, Rev up using accelerator from inside, everything is fine! But.. ... when we turn it off, and try to restart without direct gas into the top of carb, it will just turnover! Add a little fuel into the top, starts right up. Accelerator pump is new, gaskets, everything, complete rebuild. Any help ????

Hey, all. New to site. Trying to figure out what is necessary on a l16 carburetor and intake, it's strictly for show, dosnt daily drive, or extreme hot, cold situation. Bozo before me took factory intake, carb off, put motorcycle carbs on. Hated it, always had to adjust, and tinker with it! Want to go back factory, after months of searching found stock HitachI dch carb, and intake. Will rebuild it.... but most of all the linkages, hoses etc are gone on my 620. So question. What is necessary! I have searched found choke wire to controlled 12 volt, anti diesel valve to 12 volt controlled.... there is another wire to another valve? Don't and can't find what or where it goes??
