True, Thing thats confusing is that once before same thing happened only when i took the reservoir cap to top off. and no leaks around the wheel. So i just bled the brakes and all was good. Drove for miles and months...Must be a really small leak.

Hi all, So my car has been stopping fine and i have been driving it for months with no stopping issues, but the other day (Monday Afternoon) I decided to check all my fluids. When doing so, I noticed the the front brake reservoir was empty but the rear one was full. So I topped off the brake fluid, and shut the hood and went on with my day. Didn't drive the car, but took my truck as I had to pick up some furniture.. So next morning (Tuesday), I decided to take the 510 out for a drive, but when i got in and started it up the brake peddle was really soft and went pretty much to the floor..... I walked around the car looking at every tire and brake area for leaks... Noticed some brake fluid on the Drivers side rear... So Why all the sudden would it have leaked.... drove it the prior days before with no leak or soft peddle... When topping off the front reservoir, could this have caused some pressure in the system some how causing it to leak when I put the cap back on? Going to look in a few to see where exactly it was leaking from. Btw stock drum brakes in rear.. Thanks

Figured it out thanks. PO had one big sized bulb in one housing signal, and a smaller one in the other..

Hi all, Lately my Left Blinker light indicator on my 1970 510 Dash has been blinking faster than the right one.. All my bulbs in my tail lights and turn signals work and are okay, and turn signals blink fast. I don't recall them blinking this fast before.. All fuses in my fuse box panel look okay too. Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks.

replaced the mechanical fuel pump about 2 months ago, The gas tank is the original from what I've been told by the PO.

Yeah, planning on checking the filter, even though its only about 2 months old. Also gonna clean out the jets and check the float levels.

Over the weekend I was driving home on the freeway in my 510 with an L18 and Side draft Su's, cars been running fine for months, Car was running fine in 5th gear when all the sudden it started to loose power and bog/ cut in and out.. I slowed down, down shifted to 4th and took the nearest exit. In the lower gears 1-3rd car was running fine so I kept driving. Once going up a hill in 3rd and 4th it started acting up again.. So I pulled over let it idle and pop the hood. Everything seemed fine. I turned the motor off, let it sit for a bit then started it up and drove home (7 miles till Home) and it seemed to be fine.. Was a warm day, and don't think it was vapor lock... Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Were the Tachs with white needles the ones in the SSS models? Just wondering the history on the white vs. red needle tachs.

Also installed a new Champion Radiator. I'll be cleaning up the bay soon and paint a few items like the wiper motor.

Installed some amber headlights and a MK1 front lip the other day.

Are the Headlight bezels on an original Super Sonic Grill Plastic or Metal? I know a guy selling an original Supersonic and the center Metal Egg crate piece is all straight no bent or dented spots but wants way too much...
