  1. Yea that tool actually came with the replacement kit I got
  2. was driving down the road and it all a sudden stunk like clutch really bad. Then it felt it slipping when shifting and clutch would engage with the lightest pressure. But I already have it out and clutch is worn down to the rivets and scored the pressure plate.
  3. Yes it's a 2wd. Forgot to mention that.
  4. My clutch just went out on my 86 720. I already went and bought the whole kit to replace it but was wondering if anyone has ever replaced one before and how hard it is.
  5. That's true. Flares may be an option. My wheels and tires fit but the fender just rubs a bit on the sidewall when I hit bumps. I'm not running anything crazy like a 15x10 with stretched tires. They are 15x8 with 225/50's. I actually just raised it up a bit so I don't damage my tires anymore to get me by until I figure something out. But thanks for the advice mike!
  6. Your right it won't. I hate when I only do what is right and not what. I don't give a fuck about what's right it's my truck I'll do what I please with it.
  7. Alright I'll go try that now. Thanks a lot for the help
  8. Wanting to add negative camber. so I can tuck my wheels and not have to roll my fenders.
  9. How do you camber the front of an 86 720.
  10. I'm going to check/ change oil tomorrow and look for shavings. What would you recommend, swapping it out or just getting a rebuild kit. I know these little truck are simple and easy to work on but I really don't know a lot about these transmissions so I don't know what's the best thing to do.
  11. Alright I'm in need of some help. A couple weeks ago my transmission started making this weird noise when off the gas in 4th gear. It's not that loud but it's there and shouldn't be. It's like a rattling/screeching if that makes any sense. It does it in pretty much every gear but only when off the gas. But 4th is load and clear for some reason. Is it not enough oil? A bearing? I don't know. I have a friend with a 280z transmission that I might pick up if this is a big problem. If it's going to be something where I have to pull the trans I'm just gonna swap it because I could get it for really cheap. But if not then I'd like to not mess with it if it's something simple. Anyway sorry if I didn't make a lot of sense it's kind of hard to explain. But thanks in advance
  12. Yea i think the shackles and bushings would be a good place to start. Thanks for all the advice!
  13. Its hard to explain. It's not the tires and I know the gas tank has doesn't have a lot to do with it. Tire pressure is the same and gas tank is always full. When I drive it for a while the driver side is almost tucked and the passenger side has a good 2 1/4 inch gap. But if I bounce on it, it levels out. But what doesn't make sense is sometimes it's completely the other way around. Passenger side is about tucked and driver side has a big gap
  14. So I lowered my 86 720 on 3" blocks in the rear. But it doesn't sit level. Some days it sits an inch lower on one side and others and inch on the other? Is it my shock? Or maybe the leafs??

do you have to get different shocks when lowering?
