  1. Some new trucks in the PNW too.......all from May 2017 An 82 KC 4WD in NW Auto Recyclers in Lake Stevens (no pic) As of May 6 An 84 RC 2WD in South Portland P&P added May 15th Another 84 KC 2WD in Tacoma as of May 3rd
  2. Please don't be sorry, I read the whole post and my first thoughts were of the 10mm wrench and phillips screwdriver I found in the yard. Do you need those back? Being an old fart and old school, I like the L motors just fine. Swap motor call outs fly around like crazy on the forums and I never really looked into what they came from. I just Wiki'ed the SR20DET and see it is kind of a unicorn motor only sold in Japan and some Euro states. Hence your joke about it. When I run across a 02 Silvia S15 SpecR with the T28BB (VTC) Turbo in a barn out in Doty or Adna, I will be sure to pick it up and sell the SR here, as part of my retirement plan. Just joking around too,
  3. tdaaj, you post just said stripped (2728), and Bleach said to the frame (2733). I took both of them to be about my post of the truck. Now Bleach mentioned an SR so perhaps his was about a different truck. No big deal. Yes L20B, overall the truck was pretty rough to start with. IMO
  4. For someone saying earlier that it was stripped to the frame, I was not expecting to find much. Missing was the hood, fenders, grille, door cards, and some trim. The windshield was a safelite. The drivers door regulator was toast. Dash bezel is broken. No tach. All the lenses were broken or missing. It is pretty rusted and beat up. I just grabbed some smalls, horns, hood release cable, jack mount, battery hold down, and one headlight trim ring.
  5. I stopped by P&P today and took a look at this truck. I thought it was interesting that the VIN plate on the door jam was stamped 2/77 like a normal Datsun but then had 4/77 stamped hard above the other date stamp. Is that very common? I have not see any like that before.
  6. Looks like some trucks and goons up in Arlington for $150 each. https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/pts/6100727203.html
  7. I do see the VIN is unavailable but nothing that indicates the truck in unavailable. If the VIN is less than the current 17 digits they always list them as not available Although I'm not surprised it is stripped already. YARD PICK-n-PULL Tumwater Tumwater, Washington 98501 WEBSITE Homepage | Part Pricing ROW 22 ADDED Apr 12, 2017 VIN Not Available COLOR BLUE BARCODE B4147769
  8. '77 Datsun "710" as they call it arrived in Tumwater on 4/12. http://row52.com/Vehicle/Index/RNDkEsaCUeCkYvRN3J3ic26uc
  9. 79 pickup in Lynnwood, set on 4/6 http://row52.com/Vehicle/Index/RNDuhrny6HAxx0shIeb7dRH6W
  10. I went to Pick & Pull in Tumwater today, they had a 85 Maxima Wagon that was mostly intact. It has only been on the yard since Tuesday. http://row52.com/Vehicle/Index/JN1HU15S1FX003306 I grabbed the rear disc's and a few other bits. They also has an 84 pick up that was more picked over. http://row52.com/Vehicle/Index/JN6ND06S1EW014994 I only grabbed the shifter that was laying in the cab. This weekend is a half price sale. I am going back to return some cores. If anyone has a request for something I would consider working something out.
  11. 510 Wagon in Spokane WA. Ran when parked, comes with a rust repair kit. Oh, and don't fall for the CL scam......... https://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/6030594457.html (Not my ad)
  12. Apologies, I have never been to any yards up that far North of me. I do agree though that many "close to the city" yards are just that, expensive, rude, and I hate closed yards. I just happen to run across the ad, I did not notice at first but it has been up for almost a month. That usually means picked over. They always post the picture of the vehicle when it first arrived to bait you into coming down and finding a stripped out shell. Pick & Pull does that too. Always check your dates and expect it to be picked over. You never know though, sometimes even a blind dog finds a nice bone. I have hit gold for my Z before.
  13. looks like there are some trucks are up in Auburn WA. Budget Truck Wrecking. https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/pts/6016389257.html
  14. Well that did not get me any closer to finding out what this fits. Oh well, thanks for the input anyway. Guess I will shelf it for now.
