  1. If I touch the two wires together with my key in the on position I will get my fasten belts warning chime and then the truck will have spark again! If I do not hear the seatbelt with warning chime or a charge light indication I do not have any spark
  2. Thanks datzenmike!! As for my melted wires I am trying to get that all straightened out at the moment. Noticed a couple wires melted together. Cranks all day long but doesn't have spark. If I short these two wires(black with yellow tracer)(blue white tracer)
  3. I have traced some of my melted wires to this box under hood right hand side on top of my fender well between the relay cover and washer bottle. I took the top cover off and found a counter?... what's this for?
  4. I had the same issue with my 77 620. Strong fuel smell even with the back slider shut. Pulled my tank and the return line was badly dry rotted. I replaced all hoses and hose clamps. No more problems. Also have a 720 4x4 that just jerked you out of your seat upon acceleration. Found that the feed line going to the fuel pump was dry rotted just enough to lose fuel pressure. Any Datsun I have had I always end up pulling the tank! :)
  5. Green blue stripe wire is missing on the new turn signal switch. Old one runs to the middle contact position.
  6. Now here is the high beam contacts... This is what I don't understand. And the colors are not matching up with my old one.
  7. So here is a picture of the turn signal switch contacts. One on the right is my original. Seems like my original uses 2 contacts and the new one uses 1
  8. What does this turn signal fit? I bought it for my truck but definitely wrong application.
  9. Hello RATSUN! Just got my turn signal switch for my 78 Datsun 620. Ordered it from eBay and it is an aftermarket part but my original turn signal switch was a 10 wire connector and the one I received was a 9 wire! I plugged the new one in but Only the high beam function is working g properly. Why did I receive a 9 pin connector? Help!!! I need turn signals!
