  1. It's listed as a pilot bearing in some autos stores. I know what it is though I don't replace the wrong thing. But gona do a fluid change and see if that helps first before I tear it apart.
  2. Yeah I'm gona change fluid and see what that does. But im feeling like it's a bad pilot bearing. Part is only like $4 but what sucks is that I'll have to pull the trans to replace it and this is my daily. Hopefully this trans isn't to hard to pull out.
  3. Cause it started getting loud on my way to school so pulled it into the shop to take the video and try and see what's wrong with it. Gona try and have a friend bring me some fluid for it and hopefully that helps it. Hopefully that's all it needs as this is my daily and wouldn't wana have to rip the trans out to replace anything. Only been making noise since last night on my way home. Maybe 10miles on it since the noise started so I haven't gone far like this.
  4. Yeah right now it's just sitting in my schools autos ship where I'm gona try and Jack it up to take a look. And if I can will try changing fluid but it sounds it could be something else. But wouldn't hurt to chang it and see if it gets better.
  5. https://youtu.be/ln5qeykIA4E here's the video actually. Wouldn't let me put in original post but will here.
  6. So I have just developed a noise coming from the transmission. Started softly yesterday and has gotten louder as of this morning. I don't know much about transmissions or how to describe noise so have a video for you to listen. But sounds maybe pilot bearing? Flywheel coming off? Not sure so take a listen. Won't let me link from my phone but just posted on YouTube. Search Nissan 720 transmission noise. Just a short 20 second video.
  7. Yeah I'm guessing it's junk gunked up cause yesterday it started running like junk so I pulled over it died. Got it running enough to check the level and that's fine so I know it's not flooding the bowl at all. Must just be all gunked up and need cleaning to get all the crap outa the carb.
  8. Yeah everything looks like it's in working order. Choke is fully open, not triggered by bumps. I'm feeling like something is getting a clog here and there. It's not doing it as often now but I still get it here and there. So I'll probly pull some stuff apart and clean it soon and see if that fixes it.
  9. I have an 85 720 stock carb and all, electric choke(works fine) All systems seem to check out and work as they should. I have encountered a strange random issue where it runs fine and then randomly like crap and then fine again. When it'd be running like crap it would not idle well, couldn't drive at an even pace with throttle in one spot without it stumbling. Only ran fine with it floored. I'm gessing it could be a sticky needle or float? Need to look at level next time it's running like garbage to see if the bowl is over filled. When it runs fine everything checks out okay. Anyone else have this issue that could point me in a good direction? Thinking I need to just pull the carb apart a bit and clean things off.
