86-720

I have started looking for a header for my 86. What is the best one out there?

Is the fuel pump in the tank or external?

is the only fuel filter on the frame rail? I was thinking that or a fuel pump since it did it and then ran fine and then got worse. thanks

a couple days ago my truck just sputtered just a couple of times and then the was fine. the next day it did it again but a little worse . then yesterday it did it really bad on the way to work I parked it for like 3 hrs and then went back out and started it and drove home with no issues at all . then this morning I was going to drive it to work and it died a couple of times and was sputtering bad so I took it back home and parked it . any ideas? thanks in advance

I tried a pair off of a d21 and they were different and won't work.

I have 2 tailgates now and no brackets. thanks for the pic I hope somebody on here has some or comes across some. I will try posting a want ad

I have checked every scrap yard around and I cant find anything. they are the brackets that bolt to the bed and the tailgate latches to . I tried some from a d21 and they were different .

does anyone know where I can get the brackets that the tailgate latch to? I have checked all around Indiana and I can find any. any help would be greatly appreciated .

I looked on there and didn't see that part at all. I thought maybe somebody would know where a parts truck is and I could buy them that way . I already tracked down a perfect tailgate and just got it from California .

I can't seem to find them anywhere. And I don't think there is a single 720 in any scrap yard in Indiana .

Does anybody have or know when I can get the brackets that bolt to the bed that the tailgate close to ? I need the bolts and brackets . I could also use the straps for the tailgate too. Thanks

Ok so I got my truck lowered . In the front we used 2" drop spindles and cranked the torsion bars down a 1-2 inches and I took it to the alignment shop and the guy said the tie rods were bottomed out and he couldn't crank it any more. Any ideas what would cause this and what can I do to fix it ? Thanks
