  1. So check fuses and pull a plug from each side and watch sparK?
  2. I believe one coil is not firing I'll look for a replacement today
  3. And the distributor is turned almost fully adv. Could that have been done cause of bad coil?
  4. When I turn the idle screw out anything lower then 1500rpm truck sounds rough
  5. What's weird is when I was looking at the carb while it was running it dropped to 1500 for like 20 secs then bounced back up
  6. I'll start checking those I've noticed the throttle cable isn't tight at all and the choke seems to be working it was opened up when warm
  7. I got it charging now but my idle is high once warm its at 2000 rpm. Adjusted idle speed screw with no help.
  8. Well alternator has the t shape behind it but none of the wires have the t shaped plug on it. The white and white/blue end was cut off and those wires were just laying in engine bay
  9. I understand. My buddy ordered me the t plug I just want everything right
  10. I'll try and take a pic as clear as I can. When I jump truck and check power where those wires plugged into. They were showing 13.7 plus volts
  11. No actual the end that has the plug on it was plugged into harness behind battery and the wire end was bolted to alternator.
  12. That's what we don know that's how it bought from some kid. The white wires in thay pic were bolted to back of alternator no other wires were connected to it. The white and white/blue wire were just hanging around engine bay. This was a kids project who got frustrated with it then let it sit.
