  1. It's not transmission related but I put a new radio in and my wipers quit working. So while troubleshooting my wipers my blinkers quit working. I checked the fuses. They are all good but I don't have any power coming up to the switch.
  2. New question. My gear shift sounds like a dildo running on high. Will replacing the bushing on bottom make it shut up?
  3. The majority of the noise was the throw out bearing. The rest of the noise is 5th gear is missing a tooth. So it's back together until my new transmission gets here.
  4. I just bought the fs5w71b I'll just swap my case with it and be done. I'll be glad when this is over, I need my work truck back.
  5. This is from a z31. So I'll have to put my case on it.
  6. So what about the fs5w71c? Does it still have the same size input and output shafts? And is the case still interchangeable? Sorry for all the questions.
  7. Can I swap cases with the one I already have?
  8. Will a 5 speed out of a 84 200sx 1.8L have the same bolt pattern as the z22?
  9. Well I don't have a hoist or a cherry picker where I started this mission. I'm going to try to pull the floor pan and if that doesn't work I'm going to pull the cab bolts and Jack the cab up.
  10. Any tips or tricks to getting it to clear the front differential and come out? It's hitting the fire wall and the front diff. And in the rear there is a cross member just under the tail shaft.
  11. Bearing kit is ordered from Midwest. My tranny will be on the ground before lunch tomorrow.
  12. All I'm finding in rebuild kits are for FS5W71C instead of B. What's the difference?
  13. Where's the best place to find a rebuild kit for it?
