  1. The 310 is as good as mine. I'm stoked! I'm brand new to the datto game, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for any lying around.
  2. I grew up down the street and knew him since I was very little. He was a VERY smart man. I often believe he knew a lot that we don't... I'm convinced he knew something and that made him paranoid for some reason. Unfortunately I'll likely never know what went on in his head.
  3. Just south of Charlotte, NC. I was down your way a couple weeks ago for Petit Le Mans. What a wet mess that was... Good fun, though.
  4. Good deal. Thanks for the insight, folks. There may be a build thread from me in the future chock full of questions for you all. Thanks! John
  5. Are there any engine swaps with the FWD A14 that don't involve replacing everything?
  6. Thanks, Mike! He shaved all handles but the driver's side door for some reason. He was a pretty paranoid guy, possibly schizophrenic. Slept in this car in the foil-lined garage for a couple decades... notice there is also only the driver's seat. The rest of the space was framed with 2x4s and plywood on hinges to form storage/sleeping surface. Most of the storage is filled with hundreds of magnets... wish me luck!
  7. The jeep was my buddy's dad's. He will be fixing it up as well. Thanks for the reply!
  8. My buddy's stepfather passed away recently. We grew up in the same neighbor hood and I remember this car being in the garage since I was a kid. He was a bit reclusive- probably drove this car 5 or 6 times in the last 15 years or so. I remember it running about 10 years ago. The plaque under the hood says HN10, but I'm struggling to find any info on this fwd A-14. Is it a 310? Does the tail light trick work for getting the manufacture year? it has a 78 on the light. He is asking $200 or it goes to the scrapper. Not sure how extensive repairs will be to get it going again. Thanks in advance! John
