That is a probability, I hope that it makes it until January. Hunting season will be over and she will get a new bottom end.

Checked the exhaust and the plugs. Still tapping. Engine runs smooth, just noisy

Need a little help! I ran my truck hot a year or so ago. It blew the head gasket so I put stop leak in it and it has run fine ever since. I decided to just buy a head, gasket kit and a weber 32/36 carb and get it going before hunting started. Well, all went as planned but I am getting a tapping noise that sounds like a valve needs to be adjusted. I have adjusted the valves multiple times and the noise hasn't changed. I pulled the plugs to make sure they weren't hitting the piston. The sound seems to be coming from the #4 cylinder. Any Ideas? Thank ahead of time for the help.
