The space was little tight, so I didn't take a whole car shot... I also for got to ask how he fit them.. I will email him soon!

  6. "It's better to beg for forgiveness, than to ask for permission"  Thanks for your suggestion! Thanks! You are in MA! I lived in Boston from 1998 to 2014!
  7. Hello guys! My project is slow going.. haha.. Took many parts off from the car and I like to start patching and replacing rusty spot. The radiator support and beam is pretty bad. I hammered and looks little better but still floppy looking. I am thinking about cut the beam (Red lines) and lower part of support and replace with square tube. Not sure the lower part. Leave it open?? What do you guys think? Any other suggestion? I also like to patch some rust spot on the engine bay. What size (Thickness?) steel sheet do you guys use? Thank you for the help! Fugo (My Son) likes creeper :-)

  11. Hello everyone! My name is Nao and this is my 1969 Datsun 510 project. I went to Nissan / Datsun swap meet last month at Austin Z clinic. I wasn't planning to buy anything just checking cool cars and parts because I like old cars. Then I saw this 510... :w00t: Went back home and told my wife "I like to buy a car but It's not running... No engine and transmission".... and she said "NO!" Of course..... :crying: "The car has rear seat! We can go to a picnic with kids when finish!" and I probably said "Please~~~!!" hundred times... haha.. She finally said "ok....... " !!!!! Yes!! I guess I am a super lucky person!! After few days later the car arrived with tow truck and she was like      ....... haha.... Anyway, This is going to be fun (I hope so!) and slow project! I know very little about this car, So "Please~!" help me! I don't have any idea yet. Not sure I am going to do full restoration or not. Since this has no engine and many part are rusted, I started taking parts off from the car. Austin Z Clininc Took off the front and rear seats Floor looks pretty good. I think? Found some treasures  Took the bumper and valance off. Umm... Looks like the car had accident before.. Many part are hammered and rusted. I also took the front fenders off. The seam of rocker panel was crushed. I bent them back using plier and hammer, So I can reach the fender bolts. Today, My son (Fugo) found this from old toy box! Fugo : "Look dad, This car looks like a Datsun" Me : "Yes! This is a Datsun!" Fugo : "Cool!!"
