  2. Almost have it running again. just need to figure out my distributor mounting issue... stock dual points and i picked up that hot spark to try out and i didn't notice it was for single points
  3. Well to my defense i was in Mt Shasta, CA.. which is the very bottom of the cascade range, so bottom of the PNW :geek:
  4. grandma left an old expired one in the car
  5. Moved up to Bainbridge Island (no i'm not rich) to help out a family member in need with their rowdy teenagers. i have to ditch the old leaky hitachi and put on my lynx/single dcoe and finish up my electric fan setup before i can drive any further than down the street
  6. We are now residents of the state of Washington (but keeping the OG Blue Cali plates) You can find us on an island in the Puget Sound.
  7. Yeah, ill start one once i make some progress on it. I've just been accumulating parts the last month or so when time/money permit. Haven't had much time with my school load yet. Nothing worse then a build thread with minimal updates
  8. First post on this forum. Had a 510 about 10 years ago. Since ive been in the German car world (vw, air/early water cooled) So, I've been trying to acquire this 510 for about 3 years now and just recently did so. One owner, Mt Shasta, CA car. Seen all sorts of weather and a lot of Forest Service back roads. None the less its still a runner (well now it is, a "mobile mech" ripped her off, left it in pieces so she decided to let it go). Not planning on going too extreme on it, single sidedraft w/lynx, dogleg, coilovers, mags, run-ability upgrades etc. Would like to maintain its history somewhat. Here a couple of pics.
