  1. I would not use those carbs on a Datsun motor because they were specifically set-up for one of the "Ti" (Touring International) variants of the BMW M10 motor (circa 1960s-early70s). The carbs are set-up for either one of three variants of the BMW motor: the 1600ti, 1800ti or 2000ti. The venturis and jets are set for the specific motor, and unlike the Weber DCOE and later Japanese SOLEXPHH series, it is very difficult to change the settings on these carbs unless you completely remove them. You can only change out the venturis once you completely disassemble the carbs. Slavs the BMW Guy.
