well i guess thanks for the help, i gave up on my datsun and just cut it in half yesterday. turned the bed into a trailer and took the front to a scrap yard

the smog pump and such, i took the heater out and blower motor out becuase i knew i was never going to use it. and don't have one so no worries when it tells me weird things

i dont have a heater in it i pulled that out when i pulled the emmisions junk out of it, and i know i shouldnt have been driving on it but i had to get home with it.

im just not really sure what direction on motor to go, theres alot of people saying z motors ka or sr and i just am unsure

i bought my Datsun 2 years ago, it was $250 and ran sometimes it ran sometimes. I drove it every now and then, then 6 months ago i pulled it out again and swapped a Weber on it drove it around and then started a knock and almost home and blew threw a rod through the oil pan. I want to keep it alive and i haven't pulled the motor yet to see the damage and i want to motor swap it and i want to stand out and put an i6 L motor in it and not sure with cutting and such will it "bolt in"

their are alot of nice 6 lugs but i just like 4 and 5 lug "tuner" style rims

i found a fuse i thought was for the headlights it was burnt so i changed it but im just gonna keep checking things but could i use like a 510's disc brake conversion on my 620? i do not have alot of experience with these things

i just bought my first non domestic car and it was a 1975 datsun 620 and i need help my head lights dont work and my tail lights were working now they are not. it doesnt want to stay at idle unless i give it half throttle. and i was wondering if it was possible to switch from the 6 lug to a 4 or 5 lug without adapters since im not gonna use it as a truck.
