  1. THE "FUCK OFF" WAS INTENDED FOR THE FIRST INDIVIDUAL WHO READ IT AND POSTED ABOUT IT, DATZENMIKE. HE SETS A BAD EXAMPLE. HALF THE PEOPLE? I SENT OUT 4 REPORTS 2 WERE DIRECTLY ON DATZENMIKE's POSTS. I COULD CARELESS ABOUT THE OTHER INDIVIDUALS BASHING MY THREAD OR MY CAR, BECAUSE ITS MY CAR! NO FUCKS GIVEN HERE. if you want to have a beer and talk about cars I'll be going to most north Texas autocross events and cars & coffee starting in July
  2. He offered me a deal I can't turn down. I was going to pick it up last weekend, but it didn't work out and he contacted me today asking about my work schedule.
  3. I mocked up a 2jzgte and 7mgte in a te72 corolla, but it was not pretty.
  4. I think I'll make this work for now then once I get her running, or sell the "Mercedes", Ill switch over to 7" sleeves, tokico illumina fronts w/ 275 lbs springs, and 2 way adjustable rears w/ sub 275 lbs springs http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/coilovers/Part_1/#SpringTheory Inline 6?
  5. qwik510 On the v8 510 is the firewall untouched? Did you ever check your weight distribution? What spring rate and shocks were you running in the front and rear? Were you running a rear sway bar? Was your front sway bar stock ?
  6. More pics of install please. Did you use the gto oil pan or go custom, or what? Did you cut the firewall to fit it? How much damage did you have to do to the trans tunnel to fit a t56? Which spec t56 are you using? - Custom truck / silverado oil pan, I thought it would be a bolt in option but the sump was too deep and didn't clear the center link - Yes the firewall has been modified / 6-7 inches rearward - The tunnel too has been highly modified - Gear Ratios : 2.66, 1.78, 1.30, 1.00, .74, .50 from 02 trans am J30s and q45s came with vlsd R200s if you're ok with that. Otherwise, just look for 240sx limited slip options. - I haven't heard anything good about vlsd so I'll be sticking with a clsd - Currently, I have a open 3.9 installed Have you done any stitch welding or chassis reinforcing? - I talked to Troy and he too suggested stitch welding so after I finish all the suspension, drivetrain, and wiring I will work on the throwing in some more welds.
  7. Use the collar as a perch? What about the hat? What about when you want to raise the suspension?
  8. Instead of buying the mainstream front kit, $219, has anyone used a cheaper ebay kit for a different vehicle and adapted it? As long as the kit is meant for a 2" diameter strut there should not be any issues, right? Since my motor is heavier than most I will be running springs in the 250-300# range, any recommendations?
