What Pistons would fit on bored .40" F54 block and what math would I use to find it out?
  2. From the guy "I've got an l28et from a datsun 280zx. The block has been bored .40" over, honed, decked and cleaned. The cylinder head is not on the block, but has been inspected, measured, and has new valve stem guides along with a 3 way valve seat grind. I have a master kit for both the bottom and top of engine including over sized pistons, rings, oil pump, all gaskets etc. Just needs to be assembled. The crank has been inspected and polished. What you would need for ing over sized pistons, rings, oil pump, all gaskets etc. Just needs to be assembled. The crank has been inspected and polished. What you would need for assembly is all hardware, (except for the internal pieces) exhaust manifold and a turbo." He's been trying to sell it for awhile I don't know why. But now he says he's trying to fund a trip he's going on. He wants 800$.
  3. A guy is selling a l28et bored .40 over and the heads off the block but it comes with the over sized pistons, gaskets ect...and im wondering how hard would it be to reassemble it back together. thanks .
  4. Would this all work with a 1973 240z? http://m.ebay.com/itm/361386654561?_mwBanner=1
  5. Nice car and nice music choice! night lovell!
  6. did that, rpm still goes up. Ill probably be replacing the booster and master cylinder soon anyways.
  7. Would the brake booster or brake master cylinder cause the RPMs to go up when you step on the brake?
  8. Can somebody tell me what the red with black wires in the transmission tunnel go to? Or what they're for. Also would that have anything to do wiTh the turn signals? Thanks
  9. Anyone have links to some good turbo build articles ? Thanks.
  10. I have a 1973 240z. I want to run 15x10 steelies and im wondering whats the lowest ET i can run without major issues. I know theres a lot of factors to add in, but i plan on getting flares, and wheel spacers if needed. Coils in the future too.
  11. Thanks we will, i got a buddy thats been helping me the whole way. I probably wont install it until i get a lightweight flywheel and a stage 3 clutch. It might be a while.
  12. Met the guy and he has a really clean 240z. It's a automatic so he bought everything he needed for the swap, got it out of a 280zx 2+2. He's moving and lost the garage and had to sell everything. Needless to say I bought it. Thanks everyone for the input. Stay tuned for my "help me" post for installing I haha :)
  13. I thought it was a really good price concidering the "z man" in snohomish sells the diff for 600$ and the 5 speed for $850
  14. sadly no pictures on the ad and he said he cant send any. How can I tell if its an actually r200 3.9 diff and a 5 speed?
