I lost my good 12mm, maybe I did some something stupid like that and can't remember. The 25 cent benchtop one I've been using sits crooked on a wrench.

If you don't take em I'll drive up there and but em out from under you :P j/k tho, memphis to st. louis is the most boring drive ever.

It finally warmed up enough that I could tackle the engine bay. Took out a lot of AC parts and well, everything else too. Rust is worse on the inside than i thought, passenger floor is paper thin. It looks like it was leaking in there so thats why they went crazy with the spray foam. Oil drain bolt was just about completely rounded off, not sure how I'm gonna get it off. PB blaster was a livesaver on the AC compressor bracket, crazy how much that thing weighs. Next on the to-do list is bug spray for the roaches in cab, they were living under the 8(!) floor mats. Then get the engine out and see what I'm workin with. A quick glance under the valve cover, without too much poking around, was promising. Damn those moon eyes rims are a thing of beauty. I can't get em because I'd feel bad not having a truck to match :(

I cannot for the life of me get my glove box open, am i correct in assuming if i run a knife along the bottom edge I can cut thru the stock material and open it up?

I *might* be in for 1 set. 79$ is more than a days work for me :/

And it sure is a piece of crap. I think I might have bitten off more than I can chew. I have quite a list of thing that it needs before I can even get it to move, but I still need to clean it out and take stock of what all I have here. I was so excited to actually find a 620 I bought it before I really sat down and thought about what it would take to get this thing remotely decent again. And yes, I ahve the hood, it's in the bed. It was taken off "to be in a christmas play" a couple weeks ago, I was afraid to ask for details. o_0

I paid for my first datsun today. 325$ for a jacked up 620. It was red from the factory *I think*, the owner before the guy I just got it from didn't like the rust showing thru, so he sprayed it crap brown with latex house paint. I'm going to pick it up friday so pics should be up then. I went around it a few times, original engine is there, 4 wheels, and all the glass and body panels. The rest is details. I'm so excited to finally get a project car.
