  1. Test fitted the engine without the transmission and the engine sits way to far forward with the new front frame setup. So i will cut the oil pan to see how far back i can get the engine. I also made the 300zx trans adapter plate that mates to the vh45.
  2. No we will upgrade the rear end after we get the engine running. sorry for the late updates, i had to finished up another project we had at the shop here it is: ok enough of the 510 and back to the roadster. I got the suspension and steering rack mounted to check the fitment and everything so far seems to be on track. Customer is ordering the coilovers so the stock 240sx struts we be removed. Next step is to mount the fenders and the hood.
  3. I'm doing the welding, thanks yea its mine and thanks
  4. Im doing the welding thanks. send me an email and i can send you the file duc@dr-concept.com Yes its my car
  5. Test fitting the fender for clearance. Strut tower plates
  6. Yes your right. We use stock 240sx rotors, calipers, and a custom adapter bracket made in house. I still have the CAD file save if anyone is thinking about doing the same setup. The 240sx rotor will have to be bore out in the center to accommodate the 411 original hubs and notching the stock 411 upper control arm because the brake caliper will hit. Yes you are correct. We thought about this long hard and should have told the customer to go with an sr20det but people have already done this and even a ls1 engine. Who want to see another similar swaps....not us. So we decided to chop the front chassis off and build a new one from scratch using all the 240sx suspension.
  7. You read the title correctly we are swapping a Infiniti q45 into a roadster at dr-concept.com first test fitment super tight fitment so we are making more room Engine sits much better now but the gear box is in the way and the chassis is too narrow to fit an alternator.
