  1. No need on any of that. We have run these with 15psi over with stock ring caps, rods, pistons etc. for years. Just don't let it PING or it WILL detonate lol. No need for coolers where I live, just run a proper grade oil. Ignition is set safe zone around 25btdc and is locked there. As the boosted fuel charge (I'm running 50% e85 mixture with regular) runs through the charger and the intake, theres no need for a cold air intake etc. The pipe right on the carb will generate ice on it even on summer days, so thats free intake cooling. Physics are awesome Cheers, sunnypower
  2. Yes, this blower is an aisin amr500 out of Nissan march turbo, 0,5L per revolution 🙂 Its overdriven around 2.1:1, making 9-10 psi in a a14 engine
  3. Hi mike! Yes, around 100-120hp is close to what I've calculated it should be making. I've run stock ring caps, keeping the engine cool with upgraded radiator and electric fan setup, also the fuel charge cools down the blower pretty nice. Rings got fried over a head gasket blow, and the motor got extremely hot. In that same mishap, the ring grooves got f*cked, so the pistons are garbage now. But ay thats all about this hobby aint it ;D
  4. Wow, five years have passed since my last post, been kinda busy I guess... So, greets from Finland once again. Sunny has gone through some trashing and wrenching. Some include massive rust repairs and diy paint jobs, some suspension & engine work. It received my old a14 motor from crashed b310, where I slapped blower and stuff next to it. With current drive ratio it makes around 9-10 psi boost immediately. Hp don't know, torq plenty compared to stock n/a 😄 Sadly its currently sitting with fried piston rings, I'm building two engines atm. a12 n/a with cam/head/extractors and carbs to get it mot'd and a a15 bored with new pistons etc. Journey continues, feel free to ask questions
  5. Hi! First excuse me my bad english, not my main language..? About to paint my b310 in a 80's style 2-tone with some kind of stripe. Mainly these two are on my mind, mine is the silver one on the right. Also been thinking about copper with black stripe, but couldn't find a nice one to try my microsoft-paint skills on :'D You guys got any ideas?
  6. Greetings from Finland! Finally the snow is starting to land here in our beautiful country, even thou we are way up north (weird weather here nowadays). Took the all mighty b310 for a spin B) The stock a12 52hp already starting to feel like 152hp  #kansei-dorifto #maximum-attack, polar bears on the roads be very afraid. Also took the photo with a potato. Don't know was this the right thread to write this kind of thing but oh well.... Cheers Vince from finland
  7. Im buying these s13 struts from a friend very cheap, maybe i can use some parts of them in my b310? Cheers Vince
  8. Komeeta jälkee, torilla tavataan!
  9. Updated some, check the first page  Suspension build coming soon.
  10. As i have understood, there was only one guy developing this game and when it was released it made some records in steam being most downloaded allover the world :D Maybe it's the Finnish youngsters stereotype that ruled in the 90's. Basically it included: >Cheap, old, mostly 70's rwd japanese automobile with diy souped up engine, loud exhaust, lifted rear-end, furry dices, bigass subwoofer in the trunk and some banging techno hits. This way, if you managed to do a burnout in front of a highschool you got the ladies. >Making you're own moonshine for weekends >Enjoying the moonshine and beer in your own cars backseat, listening that techno banging loud and forcing your best friend to drive. >Smoking more than your car I wish i was born a little earlier to see all that greatness  Cheers Vince from Finland
  11. Hi! Don't know if theres a topic about this already but i decided to do one anyway. Im very proud being Finnish nowadays, those who haven't noticed, the best car game ever has been launched as an early access on steam. It's called: MY SUMMER CAR! The ultimate Datsun cherry E10 building simulator that is ridicilously realistic. It also acts as a 90's Finland simulator lol  If you're a gaming guy, search google for "my summer car" and try it out, theres also plenty of videos in youtube. Tell me what you think, i found it hilarious foreing people playing it  Greets Vince from Finland
  12. Well, currently they are sleeping under a pile of snow, theres no place to work on :/ But i've got always something to work on, making plans for the future etc. I also got couple of intake/exhaust flanges made so i can build my own manifolds when the time comes. Oh yea, i also worked on with this beautiful ke25 coupe corolla that my mom bought last summer. Was very rusty one but luckily only underneath :D The license plate is awesome.. Cheers Vince from Finland
  13. Wow! Almost two years have passed and i have totally forgotten how to speak/write in English! Gotta do some training now. So, i was working on building a daily b310, well, that daily didn't turn out so well... I was almost ready getting the car inspected and registered, until one day when i went to the garage, someone had backed up and crashed a towing hook to dattos front end. I don't remember being that pissed never in my life. And that's not all of it, next day the garage manager calls me and says that "The people of the town have complained about your crapcar sitting on the side of the garage, also they have had enough of your loud exhaust when moving the car around in the yard. Move your smoking toilet somewhere else, no working here anymore". So i had to find some place to store the poor old datto. Luckily my friend has a bunch of land in the countryside that used to belong his grandmother. So there i took my datto, resting under the trees along with my friends old mercedes. I hope it doesnt get too rotten sitting there for a year.. :/ Summer 2016, i was lucky to find a parts donor car. Sitting in mud since 1993, we pulled it out from the swamp, smashed the rear brakes loose and swapped rear tires with some air in it. I rented a weirdest trailer i've driven with, it was really scary towing with that thing thinking all the time will the rotten rear axle assembly stay in place  After all, the 100-mile trip went well and my "brand new" -79 sunny found it's way to my friends property. It's got all the nice chrome things intact to swap to the the other car :) Currently i've been unemployed, suffering depression and i can't afford to buy any other car to drive, in order to get a registered car i should sell my dear dattos and that's not an option. So im riding a bicycle.. I really hope to get some place next summer where i could finish my dear daily. Time will show. Greetings Vince from Finland
  14. Thanks Atomic! :) On tämä saatana työmaa
