  1. Man, that sucks. I have a '77 200SX rotting in my garage that I was gonna take the L20B out of and try to fit into my '78 B210. Does anyone know if that 200SX (S10) crossmember will allow me to mount that engine in the B210? From what I have read the S10 and B210 are built on the same chassis.
  2. I *finally* got around to messing with this thing, bleeding it did nothing for it so I replaced the slave cylinder and it seems to be working fine now. I drove it across town today. Thanks for the help guys.
  3. Thanks Len, I will look into that. I already have a cheap flare nut wrench set from Harbor Freight, so I guess we will find out the quality on them. I already got the factory service manual for the 200SX on eBay too, cost me a grand total of $12 shipped. The fluid level is okay, but I had not thought to verify there wasn't any leaking into the cabin. I'll take a look this weekend and probably try to bleed it at the slave cylinder, I just need to be able to drive it a few miles to be able to get it inspected by the local sheriff to get the title in my name.
  4. I recently bought this 200SX for cheap because the previous owner thought it needed a new clutch, but after buying it I found that the clutch works fine... for about 5 minutes, then it stops disengaging, even when the pedal is depressed. If the car sits for a little bit it goes back to working fine. I am not sure what would cause that, bad fluid, fluid leaking past the clutch cylinder piston? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
  5. Let me know what those bumper brackets ended up looking like I am trying to figure out how to do that on my own Datsun.
  6. No offense taken here, honestly if I had found a tach I would have it already and it would be slated to be installed in one of my cars. The sticker on the side says 1977. The drive shaft was pretty rusty, but I could grab it when I go out again, the car was basically sitting over a puddle and I wasn't sure how much I wanted to crawl under there anyway since the thing does not seem very structurally sound, its already warped around the old wheels its sitting on to prop it up. Fuel door is in good shape though. I will probably grab it. The Radiator still is full of coolant.
  7. I checked there is no tachometer, just the usual blocker plate. This car had an aftermarket radio that the previous owner had cut the dash to make it fit. I already took the vent glass and the center console which had been modified to fit two speakers, but it looked really good, like it came from the factory that way. I also took the cowl because it was about the only part of the car that wasn't rusty and mine is made of a combination of rust, metal, and bondo. I grabbed the antenna already, I am gonna use it to test and verify that mine works since the radio I have gets terrrrible reception, but if its not the antenna than I wouldn't mind shipping it. I checked the window seals and one is missing and the other disintegrated when I tried to pull it out. I'm gonna try to head back this weekend though.
  8. I thought I would never see it, but there it is at a local junk yard in Omaha. The frame is completely destroyed, every body panel is completely rusted at the bottom or bent or both, and scribbled across the cracked windshield is the word "mechanical". I don't really need a whole lot of parts right now, but what parts should I be looking to get off it to hold for the future or possibly sell?
  9. That was the first meet I have gone to, this is all pretty new to me, but I definitely want to go to more. I am going to take my white Datsun to a local show this weekend.
  10. I wasn't really sure where to put it and I figured fellow B210 owners could appreciate it.

I know right. I keep thinking there is something wrong with the leaf springs.
  12. Yeah there just seems to be so few of them here. I went to a Z car club meeting here in Nebraska and only one guy there had even seen a B210 before because he worked at a Nissan/Datsun dealership way back when.

    B210 Rollcall

I liked the 2 door models so much I bought one of each.
  14. What a sweet find. Its cool to see another one in the Midwest. I can't wait to see what it looks like cleaned up. I think the Honey Bee model was a 2-door sedan that had just a vinyl floor with no carpet and lacked a center console.
  15. And how much your car loves you.
