K I have a wee problem Was in the process of doin my bearings in my fs5w71c Trans bolted to a z20 1988 d21. And noticed 1st 2nd synchros are bout dead and 1st gear has fu*ked the harding on the inner bearing so now it's spins rough. What I want to know is can use a diesel td23 or td27 rs5w71c or if I can find a fs5w71c, are the internals the same ie ratios currently have a 36 tooth 1st gear. Any info would be great or even if anyone in nz has a gear and a few good synchros cheers for reading
