  1. nope, it couldn't be fixed. the guy had a 620 in the back and took the top bucket off it and put it on mine along with a new core. its hard to find anything for the j13
  2. well, haven't done much to the Datsun. Had to change the throw out bearing in the 240. but i did get my radiator back from being re-cored. once i get it running right, im going to take it apart and paint it also pull the motor and fix all the leaks.
  3. if you pull the passenger side lock out of the door and look for a 4 digit code and send it to me, I'll cut you 2 new keys and mail them to you.
  4. yes, and if i cant find any im going to screw a tapered lug nut on to a rod and and weld the end of it and then cut it down to size.
  5. anybody know where i can get these from. nissan part # 54216-14800 BOLT-ANCHOR. mine are all stripped out and bent. i tried to order some from a few places but they keep emailing me back saying sorry they are out of stock.
  6. never mind, just figured out you can. im usually on my phone. now that i know i can search by topic title, ill be asking less stupid questions that have already been covered, lol. less posting more reading is the way i usually do it.
  7. that exactly what i was looking for thanks. the search function doesnt work all that great on here. i tried searching for it but it pulls up every thread that has the word "shifter or transmission" in it. wish there was a way to search topic title only!
  8. ok. i have another question since i dont have another 521 to compare it to. I can shift my trans but its very sloppy when its in gear ( lots of play from side to side) is it supposed be like that or is there some bushing that i can change? its so hard to find info on these trucks. its a J13 btw.
  9. Cool. I'll search thanks
  10. I'm going to have to research how to shorten the steering column, that will help a lot with seating. I have short legs and to reach the pedals the steering wheel is very close to my chest.
  11. finished lowering it. still need to replace the shocks and roll the fenders. next up paint and interior. dont know if im going to do buckets or bench seat. guess we'll see what i come up with.
  12. well my wheels came in today, along with my 195/50/15 tires. so off to the shop to get them mounted. then i started on the front end. didnt get finish today though. tomorrow ill be dropping the back. ill post pics of the final results tomorrow after im done
  13. So, is thats all because it looks like i have 2 brakets over where the filter goes?
  14. thanks, i guess i could also add a mini filter in between the pump and carb.
  15. i pretty sure it goes, fuel line>filter>fuel pump>carb.
