Wow, thank you all so much for the help. I didnt expect such a detailed response so quick! I will hopefully be driving down to see it later next week. I'll keep everyone posted and maybe come home with a new (to me) Datsun. :) Any other info is greatly appreciated as well.

Hello everyone! My name is Matt and I am new to this forum. This is my first post and im a big Datsun fan hoping to get a bit of help from any experts out there. I am currently checking out a 1974 710, 4-door. It is mostly original from what I can see (aside from rims and tires) but My question to all of you is this. From what you can see in the pics I included below, what exact engine is under the hood? What is not original? and finally does everything seem to be in decent shape? Noticed a few bits and pieces missing but not many. I ask because its a few hours away and I need a good idea of what im looking at before I go to see it in person. It appears to be in pretty decent shape. I appreciate any help and information and hope to own this piece of history soon. Here she is. :)
