  1. I was pretty surprised to find it under the seat, it isn't as complete as yours wayno. It does however still have the original jack and engine cranker? That's the best word I can think of it being called. its kinda blurry, that's why I didn't post it earlier. I have been looking all over for a picture of the same glovebox pull. i will grab a few more close ups tomorrow. yeah, I can get a few of them tomorrow.
  2. Grabbed a few more pics of the interior as well as the engine bay cool old school zots sticker Worst thing about this truck is the head liner shifty OG Datsun toolkit Badge shot I Sanded the paint off the valve cover in order to fill some pinholes in it Always a good thing to see in your fuel filter  Hope to have satisfied your oic lust for a few minutes, Updates to come :frantics:
  3. grabbed a few pics of the old rocker shaft on my way out the door Probably still fine.
  4. Z chopper and Mike are right, I just needed the adjustment screws. Thanks, I will try to get them tomorrow, that's when I'm back in the shop.
  5. Yeah, the rabbit is a diesel. Too bad when he was doing the timing he had the crank 180 degrees off of the cam. The inside ot the motor is all chewed up. Definitely planning on getting it cleaned up more. I have read your thread before and love what you have done to your truck. You do some great work. I was on my way to work or else I would have gotten a few more shots of the engine and the interior. I will take more and post them on Wednesday. Over all it's a really nice truck, very little rust is surface deep and it's very stock.
  6. Hey everyone, I have been lurking on here for about a year and decided to finally make an account because I finally had something Datsun worthy to post about. At my high schools shop there is a 1966 Datsun 520 that was brought in a few weeks ago that belongs to our teachers boss. the plan is to get it running and i thought why not drag you guys along because there isn't enough 520 on this forum. As it sits, the rocker shaft had badly worn so that's why it wasn't running. The owner bought a new shaft as well as all new rocker arms however, he lost one of the old rocker arms along with the adjustment screw. So as of now I am waiting for some to show up in the mail from wayno who graciously has sent me a few. Here are a few pictures I grabbed today before I went to work.
  7. Hey guys, I'm looking for a valve lifter adjusting screw for this 1966 520 that we have at our high school auto shop. I've looked all over but cant seem to find anyone that has any and thought that one of you guys on this awesome forum would be willing to sell me one. Sadly I don't have any pictures but will try to post a few on Monday when I get back to the shop.
