  1. You're welcome. keep up the good work the cars looking great. :w00t:
  2. I've used it all in the past. I worked for a place that blasted jet fuel storage containers with the occasional car thrown in the mix. walnut shells, and aluminum oxide worked the best. Just be careful with your roof it wont warp the metal unless you spend a lot of time in the same spot make sure you use a circle pattern.
  3. Aluminum oxide would probably be your best bet.
  4. Oh and I wanted to add a comment about Maaco. I know they have gotten a bad rap over the years, but they have two different types. One is the crappy just paint, and the other is the a Maaco collision center which uses better materials. Still never use either though.
  5. Good job with the paint. What kind of gun did you end up buying?
  6. If i had to choose between the lesser of two evils I would go plastic dip. Keep in mind when you're pricing a paint job that clear coat has a UV rating, and when you use cheap clear you'll be repainting in five years when it starts to delaminate.
  7. Suction cups work really good on larger dents, or you could tack weld some small sheets of metal, and grab it with a pair of vise grips.
  8. You could do purple and gold. You keep your yellow, and it's different enough to not be confused with foosball. :w00t:
  9. I think all these west coast guys need to send some trucks to the east coast.

They wont rust away after i get my hands on them. and the answer to how i have is not enough.

  10. Did you brush it on or spray it?
  11. East Coast Revision: Stay away from any that are more than 99% rust, and dents add character. :w00t:
  12. Are you going to keep it two tone when you repaint, or just solid purple?
