  1. Looking over the Datsun 510 1968-1970 I see that the dash is drastically different than on the 1972, which is more of my taste. If I get a 68' or 69' and buy an after market 72' dash will it fit? I know I will have to buy new gauges. Would I have to make some custom modifications in order for the dash to fit snug in the 69'. Or would the 72' dash won't fit at all?
  2. Haha I get that a lot. No it was my artist name from a couple years ago that I still use.
  3. How much do you think I should offer since its stock?
  4. You are talking about the one on the rear fender correct? I am not too sure it could be, or it may be a bad weld. I am not too familiar with the wiring or electrical work. I will ask the seller about the fender issue and everything. True. I am not much of a fan of the paint job on the first as well.
  5. Thanks guys. I am already planning a repaint if needed, so thats not a problem. i am mainly concerned about the price. I will see if i can get the price to 4.5k like datzenmike said. in addition, I found another one recently and i may have to steer towards this one. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/4788573811.html
  6. Hello all, I am very new to the Datsun community and need a lot of help and knowledge. Reading around forums and articles many owners and dime enthusiasts are all saying they will not pay more than 5k. I am planning to buy one sometime in the next 2 months. Looking on CL I stumbled upon many that are 6k+. Here is one that seems to be in pretty decent shape. If you guys could help and tell me if this is a reasonable price or not that would be great. Link and description is here -> http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/4768093625.html . Thanks.
