  1. here is a video Nissan 720 in need of wheel spacers - YouTube
  2. hunted around and found two on a 720 site. Seems like this is the place to go this one went SAS and is now green
  3. i know it would need to be lifted. Just trying to find more information. Pics=motivation.
  4. I'm trying to find 720 pics with 35, 36, 37+ inch tires with the IFS front suspension. And how it was done. No SAS please. Thankyou
  5. Funny Mike, yes it was a 5 speed because it had 5 forward gears. How can anyone screw that up? We posted it on Craigslist and it went QUICK! We picked up a 5 speed from a late 280z and this one has an overdrive!
  6. We jacked up the car and put it in 5th gear. One rotation of the engine is one rotation of the driveshaft. Stupid thing is not an overdrive. Will a zx transmission work?
  7. Hello First post and if it's ok I have a question. My friend has a 240z and we bought another 240z parts car for the 5 speed trans to get his RPM down for the freeway commute. I scored on a few parts from it too, I got the rollbar, header pipe, weber carbs and e31 head. We just finished installing the 5 speed today and couldnt wait to take it on the freeway to see the RPM drop compared to the 4 speed. When we got to 65 we had the same look on our faces and darn sure we were thinking the same thing. WTF? it was spinning the same RPM as the 4 speed! I was clowning him for not being in the right gear but sure as heck it was. So i guess my question would be is the 4 speed an overdrive 3 speed? because the final rpm between the 4 and 5 speed is the same. What a waste of time! The gears in the 240z parts car are somewhere in the 4:25 range so thats out. So now we hunt for higher gears!
